Booking your event:
Please confirm your event on our schedule as soon as possible. Our calendar fills quickly and we are not always able to take parties on short notice.
As a general guideline, we request that the date, menu, estimated guest count, and timeline is received 10 days prior to the event.
Our sales team will explain when to finalize the details of your event.
Minimum order:
We have a minimum order for breakfast, lunch, appetizer parties, and dinner parties. Tax, delivery, service fees, and gratuity are in addition to the minimum charges. Ask your sales rep. for details.
What's Included:
The prices listed in our menu include high end disposable tableware for catered items.
Delivery fees may vary for events out of the Lansing area, or for events that require multiple deliveries/pick-ups.
Linen and Rentals:
Buffet linen in white or black are available for a fee. We have a large in-house inventory of linen, china, glassware, and flatware. If you are interested in renting any of these items, we would be happy to get you a quote.
Leftover Policy:
For the health and safety of our customers, and for liability reasons, we do not package leftover food for our clients. We do not provide to go containers. All food leftover at the scheduled pick-up time will be taken by the catering staff and discarded in an appropriate way.
Service Charge/Gratuity/Tips:
If you would like our experienced servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to remain on-site during your event, your quote will include labor fee, gratuity, and/or service fee.
Bartending and Alcohol Service:
Morton’s Fine Catering does not carry a liquor license, and may not sell or provide alcohol for catered events. The liability of serving alcohol remains with the client. However, bartending services are available. Our staff are properly trained in Techniques of Alcohol Management (TAM).
Deposits:
Deposits are not required for all events. Please discuss the deposit with our coordinator, or refer to your catering proposal.
Forms of Payment:
We are currently accepting checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or cash.
A convenience fee of 1.5% will be added to your transaction to help cover the cost of credit card processing.
